Title: Birdsong: Communication or Music

Dave Gammon is a Professor of biology who has conducted extensive research into how mockingbirds mimic other species and even non-animal sounds.  The program will look at how social environment may influence acoustic variation in birdsong leading to sharing of characteristics. Dave has studies a variety of birds and birdsongs and how they are used in communication.
