LATE MARCH –

Wood Duck, Wilson’s Snipe, and Eastern Phoebe return; American Woodcock return and perform display flights.
Look for migrating ducks along the river and on inland lakes and ponds as water opens.
Mourning Doves, Eastern Screech-Owls, and Barred Owls begin nesting. Look for Great Blue Herons in their rookeries
Rehabilitate and clean nesting boxes.
