Chet Vincent and others are watching a Black Tern in breeding plumage at Mashomack Preserve.  (May 15 at 2pm)
Directions:  Going north on Rt 82 beyond Attlebury Hill look for Daniel’s Way (private drive) on the left.  It is opposite Conklin Hill Road and a little south of Strever Farm Road. Going down Daniel’s Way, go past the driveway on the right, turn right past the barn on the right and proceed down the farm road you can take to an area overlooking the pond.

This is private property, but they don’t mind a few people stopping by briefly to check out the pond, staying near your car.  Keep in mind that it’s a shooting preserve and don’t venture beyond the area of the barns.
