A Swallow-tailed Kite was discovered by Delia Engstom early morning May 5, 2022 in Wappingers Falls.  She alerted her friend, Eileen Stickle, a Waterman Club member, who quickly visited to confirm the identification and send out a PEEP alert to other members.  The kite sat and preened for 35 minutes and was then chased off by a Cooper’s hawk and not relocated
