Location: Pitcher Lane, Red Hook

A Chipping Sparrow was found on Pitcher Lane at Greig Farm, Red Hook on 12.30.16 by Carena Pooth and her brother, Bert.  According to Carena this species is normally in our area from April through October, spending the colder months from Virginia south into Mexico… the chippy was hanging out with 8 American Tree Sparrows.
