Location: Newburgh waterfront, then flew east towards Beacon area

Two American Avocets were seen by two different observers around 7:15pm flying from Newburgh east towards the Beacon area. Photographs taken by Melissa Fisher were sent to B. Michelin who confirmed identification/field sketch provided.  There was also a second sighting by Karen Kearney on Front St., Newburgh.
