NYSOA Awards the Domin Brothers
a Certificate of Appreciation

by Binnie Chase

The Domin Brothers, Jay and Stanley, received a Certificate of Appreciation from New York State Ornithological Association in January:

"To Jay and Stanley Domin, for maintaining excellent habitats for a variety of birds, and for their hospitality to the birders observing them."

The Domin family has been very generous in calling attention to any rare bird they spot on their Dutchess County Farms.  They have hosted birders from across the state.  The Long-eared Owls were a special treat last year.  We also had great looks at a Greater White-fronted Goose and 4 Barnacle Geese.  Our club has been fortunate enough to have enjoyed Wednesday field trips on their farm.
