Annual Auction / Raffle Report

November 1, 2004, we held our Silent Auction/Raffle during the Annual Dinner.  We were fortunate to have many interesting donations.  A very special contribution of two bird paintings on shingles by Helen Andrews was given by Sue Gyscek.  The lucky buyers were Barbara Butler and Peggy Rudis.  Our Auction/Raffle would not be possible without donors and buyers. Thanks to all of you for helping to make our fund raiser a success.  Special thanks to Kelly and Alex Liao and Chet Vincent who arrived early at 4 PM to help set up and stayed late to help cleanup and to my ticket sales people - Kelly Liao, Pat Gabel, Rosa Corbeels, Sue Infante and Fran Henry.  We greatly appreciated the staff at Cappuccino by Coppola's who arranged a row of tables for the raffle which saved us from having to bring our own.  Donations were made by Pawling Agway and Adams Fairacre Farms.  The net proceeds from the auction/raffle were $425.

We will be holding an ongoing raffle starting in January.  This will let more people take part in our fundraising.  We have four items to raffle:  two beautiful bird carvings and two bird prints.  Tickets will be $1 each or 6 for $5.
