Backyard Atlasing - for Owls

Have you heard owls calling or found an owl nest?   We can use the information for the Breeding Bird Atlas.  Great Horned Owls from January on could be nesting, as well as Barred and Screech Owls in March or later.  Use our handy online form, or send me an or letter listing what you heard or found, the date(s), and where (nearest road and cross-road).  I'll figure out the Atlas block and turn in the report.

This is the final field season for the Breeding Bird Atlas.  Dutchess Atlasers have done a great job so far, but need to keep it going one more season.
